To ensure optimal performance of the application, it is advisable to set a default channel that functions effectively while disabling the others. As of May 19, 2021, the following channels are confirmed to be operational: Arms Control Wonk, Sean's Russia Blog, Foreign Affairs, and World Economy news from Google. Disabling all other channels is essential for the app to function properly.

To maintain a well-organized aggregate column, users should long-press on any malfunctioning channel within the channels menu to disable it. Note that certain RSS links have become obsolete and no longer retrieve content from their respective websites, although these sources may still be visited manually.

Update: Google's news feeds appear to be functioning again. However, it's noteworthy that recent changes in Google's algorithms have led to specialized news feeds like world economy reporting identical content. For an enhanced user experience, it is recommended to disable these feeds in favor of the blog channels.

If you encounter delays in loading content, consider disabling feeds from the Aggregate Tab by long-pressing them in the feed list. The app aims to provide flexibility in international affairs coverage, placing the choice of who to follow directly in users' hands.

This application facilitates following leading voices in foreign affairs and related news categories through RSS feeds, while also allowing users to add their own sources. Users can manage their subscriptions by enabling or disabling feeds from the Aggregate Tab with a simple long press on their chosen channels. The app is built on the open-source platform FeedGoal and has introduced several new feeds recently; users are encouraged to clear their cache or reinstall the app for optimal functionality.
